How I Review Blogs and YouTube Channels: My Journey from Blogging to YouTube

I’ve reached a point where I feel it’s time to start reviewing your YouTube channels as well. As many of you know, I had announced a giveaway earlier, where I offered hosting services to new bloggers whose blogs I reviewed. Now that I’ve ventured into both blogging and YouTube, many people are surprised at how I manage it all. Unlike many famous bloggers who keep their blogs and keywords secret, I openly share mine with you.

Starting a blog or a YouTube channel comes with a dream of earning a substantial income, and a milestone of earning $1,000 a month is a significant achievement. While I had already established myself in blogging, YouTube was a new venture for me. However, thanks to your support, I achieved this milestone within six months. Now, I consistently earn $1,000 a month, and my subscriber count has grown to 42,354—one of whom is you, and for that, I say thank you.

My Story

This story begins when I was just a child, probably in the 3rd or 4th grade. I remember teasing my cousin sister, who had just failed her 12th-grade exams, saying, “You failed!” She responded, “Let’s see if you can even pass your 10th-grade exams.” At the time, no one in my family believed I could achieve that. I wasn’t particularly interested in studies. A few days ago, I received a comment from a young boy, around 14 years old, who said, “You are the father of Indian blogging.” This comment brought tears to my eyes because there was once a time when people doubted I would even pass my 10th-grade exams.

My Failed YouTube Channel

One chapter of my journey involves my failed YouTube channel, “Anjani’s Toy World”. I created this channel in my daughter’s name with high hopes of growing it. Unfortunately, it didn’t succeed. The failure was largely due to several mistakes I made while creating and managing the channel. This failure taught me valuable lessons—especially the importance of proper planning before starting any channel, whether it’s in the tech, comedy, horror, or children’s stories niche.

My Successful YouTube Channels

After 27 failed channels, I finally succeeded with my current channel, “Learn and Earn with Pavan Agrawal”. I learned a lot from managing my other channels, like Pavan Agrawal, Deepawali Brand, Business Ideas, and Pavan Agrawal Shorts. These experiences helped me improve my strategies, resulting in significant growth—Deepawali Brand now has 772,000 subscribers, and Business Ideas has 523,000 subscribers.

But success doesn’t come overnight. It takes facing failure and making gradual improvements over time.

The Ups and Downs

This article isn’t just about sharing knowledge; it’s about sharing both my joys and sorrows. You may have noticed that I make it a point to reply to almost every comment. It helps build a strong connection with visitors. I recommend this to all bloggers and YouTubers—always read and respond to comments from your audience.

I also want to share a regret. Some of my long-time subscribers might remember that I created micro-groups of about 40 people each on Telegram, which I later had to delete due to spam and lack of time. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch, and in this case, I had to take down the groups.

How to Build a Good Community

I’m working on building a unique and strong community. Here’s an interesting concept: a study in the UK showed that a 3rd-grade student can teach a 1st-grader better than an adult can. Using this concept, I aim to create a community where experienced members help newcomers grow.

My Advice to Bloggers and YouTubers

If you want to succeed as a blogger or YouTuber, here are two essential tips:

  1. Stop Watching Too Many YouTube Videos:
New bloggers and YouTubers often waste too much time watching videos. Set a limit on how much time you spend watching videos so you can focus more on your work.
  2. Pen and Paper is Key:
I still use pen and paper to jot down my ideas before working on my blog posts. While technology is great, it can also be distracting. I believe pen and paper are crucial for productivity.

How I Manage Blogging and YouTube Together

Many people are surprised at how I manage both blogging and YouTube. The answer lies in time rationing. Just as middle-class families create budgets for their expenses, I create a time budget. I allocate specific time to blogging and YouTube. I’ve set up a schedule where I produce one video every five days, allowing me to dedicate significant time to both tasks.

Free YouTube Channel Reviews

I’ve started a campaign where I review new bloggers’ blogs on my YouTube channel. I provide detailed feedback and suggest improvements, which helps these bloggers get more traffic and improve their skills.

Giveaway Update

Previously, I offered hosting to bloggers whose blogs I reviewed. However, I’ve decided to stop this giveaway. Many people commented that my reviews alone provided enough benefit, and hosting wasn’t necessary.

My Revealed Blogs and Keywords

Unlike other famous bloggers, I’ve revealed many of my blogs because I believe in giving back to the community that helped me become successful. You can find case studies on my YouTube channel:

I’m happy to share my blog details and keywords. If you’d like me to share my keyword list, let me know in the comments.

Your Favorite Blog Review

I’ve now reviewed 38 blogs. I’d love to hear from you—which blog review did you find most helpful? Let me know in the comments. But please avoid saying “all were good,” as I need specific feedback to improve.

Thank you for your continued support in my journey as a blogger and YouTuber. If you’re starting out, remember that failure is a stepping stone to success. With time, persistence, and the right strategies, you too can achieve your goals.
